Guy Fieri is an American celebrity chef known for his numerous rotation of television shows, love of all things pork, ridiculous catchphrases and “Fuck The Man!” attitude when it comes to the proper way to wear sunglasses.

I’m a 20-something-year-old Brooklyn dweller with a desire to cook and eat anything and everything I possibly can … as long as it doesn’t contain any animal products. A longtime vegan, I love a good challenge in the kitchen. I studied nutrition at the University of Pittsburgh and won NYC’s first-ever Vegan Bake-Off. Aside from food, cooking and animal rights, I enjoy “trashy” novels with lots of kissing in them, silly pop-punk bands, cute dresses and photos of your cat.

This blog is an attempt to veganize Guy Fieri’s cooking. Not in an effort to make it healthier (although it undoubtably will be), but because sometimes vegans like to deep fry everything, too. Currently I am working my way through Guy’s first cookbook, Guy Fieri Food. I also post original recipes and relevant product and restaurant reviews.

    awesome! totally sharing this with my boyfriend. we don’t eat fried foods much but we do love some guy, sort of ironically but sort of really. <3
